What happens if I activate SOS?

If you activate SOS on your Garmin inReach, your emergency signal is sent via satellite to Garmin’s 24/7 emergency response center. From there, they can communicate with you and coordinate assistance with the appropriate emergency services.

Can I use my inReach abroad?

Yes. Garmin inReach communicates via the Iridium satellite network, so it can be used far beyond regular mobile coverage – including on trips beyond Denmark and Scandinavia.

Do I need to set up the device myself?

We make sure your inReach is set up and has an active subscription before it is sent to you. You’ll also receive a short guide to help you get familiar with the most important features before your trip.

Why choose to rent?

We believe that not everyone needs to own all their gear. A Garmin inReach is a fantastic safety tool, but for many it is only used a few times a year. That's why we think it makes more sense to rent – so you can get the security you need when you need it, without investing thousands in order to enjoy your nature experience to the fullest with confidence.
